?ACCEPTANCE OF DONATION TO COOK COUNTY 

?WHEREAS,?in 2021, the Office of the President launched its Emmy-award winning Project Rainbow initiative, aimed at addressing educational challenges by providing free educational programing for children and adults; and 

WHEREAS, Project Rainbow created Cook County’s first ever mobile app and partnered with world-class organizations and institutions to acquire hundreds of hours of childhood content for children and families, helped establish the Provident Scholarship Fund which has awarded more than $4 million in scholarships to over 200 students in the medical field since 2022 and much more; and  

WHEREAS, in October of 2025, Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle announced the expansion of Cook County’s Project Rainbow initiative through Grow with Google to adult learners; and  

WHEREAS, through this collaboration, Google will provide no-cost scholarships for Google Career Certificates, which will help hundreds of Cook County residents gain the skills they need to grow their careers or start new ones; </description><pubDate>Mon, 08 Jun 2026 14:14:34 GMT</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
