Boyd was called to ministry 46 years ago, establishing a strong foundation of faith and a lifelong commitment to the teachings of Jesus Christ; and WHEREAS, Pastor Boyd was born in Arkansas into a close-knit family that emphasized faith, church involvement, and community service, values that have guided his life and ministry; and WHEREAS, Pastor Boyd later relocated to Chicago, Illinois, where his ministry journey continued following his ordination in 2001, serving as Assistant Minister at First Unity Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Dr. E. J.
