GREGORY SARLO PRIDE MONTH WHEREAS, Dr. Gregory Sarlo founded Psychological Consulting in 1987 located in the Lakeview area of Chicago, IL; and WHEREAS, Psychological Consulting was founded with the mission to recognize the value of every person and a commitment to truth, wholeness, and compassion; and WHEREAS, Psychological Consulting has focused on providing psychological services to diverse populations, especially the LGBTQIA+ communities, since 1995, as well as cooperative treatment of HIV/AIDS impacted persons; and WHEREAS, Dr. Sarlo began his professional life working primarily with the HIV-impacted community and continued to specialize in helping individuals with coming out issues and other challenges related to sexual orientation; and WHEREAS, Dr. Sarlo received his Doctor of Psychology in 1999 from Adler University and went on to teach assessment and ethics there as well as chair the University’s Master of Arts and Counseling program until 2010; and WHEREAS, in 2010, Dr. Sarlo begTue, 09 Jun 2026 18:34:59 GMT
