JOYCE J. JONES WHEREAS, Dr. Joyce J. Jones recently retired after a distinguished 14-year career at Richard J. Daley College, City Colleges of Chicago, where she inspired students as an Adjunct Professor, Mentor, and Faculty Coordinator in Biological Sciences; and WHEREAS, with over 30 years in education, including service as a tenured science educator in the Chicago Public Schools, Dr. Jones has dedicated her life to teaching, mentoring, and advancing opportunities in STEM for students of all backgrounds; and WHEREAS, Dr. Jones holds a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Biological Sciences, completed a National Institutes of Health postdoctoral fellowship in Cardiovascular Physiology, and has contributed widely to research, publications, and presentations both nationally and internationally; and WHEREAS, Dr. Jones has served her community through STEM outreach, faith-based initiatives, and as CEO of Faithful 1, Bridges of Hope, and Hope4Us, embodying leadership, service, and a commitment to improving the lives of others; and WHEREAS, Dr. JonesFri, 05 Jun 2026 13:04:45 GMT
