PROPOSED RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION HONORING ARCHBISHOP WILLIAM HUDSON III AND PASTOR ANDRIA HUDSON ON THE GRAND OPENING OF POWERHOUSE POSEN, THE HOSTING OF THE 35TH ANNUAL HOLY CONVOCATION OF PILGRIM ASSEMBLIES INTERNATIONAL, AND DECLARING JUNE 28TH AS ARCHBISHOP WILLIAM HUDSON III DAY IN COOK COUNTY
WHEREAS, Archbishop William Hudson III and Pastor Andria Hudson faithfully serve as the visionary leaders of The Powerhouse Chicago, a transformational and prophetic ministry with deep roots in the City of Chicago and an expanding presence throughout Cook County; and
WHEREAS, under their inspired leadership, The Powerhouse has established three active worship campuses within Cook County: Powerhouse Englewood located at 6907 S. Halsted Street; Powerhouse Washington Heights located at 944 W. 103rd Street; and the newly launched Powerhouse Posen located at 14410 McKinley Avenue in the Village of Posen; and
WHEREAS, Archbishop William Hudson III, a dynamic prophetic preacher and international spiritual leader, serves as the Senior Pastor of The Powerhouse Chicago and the Presiding Prelate of Pilgrim Assemblies International, guiding with bold vision, profound teaching, and a global mission to empower believers; and
WHEREAS, Pastor Andria Hudson, a powerful intercessor, mentor, and spiritual guide, has played a vital role in shaping healing and restorative spaces throughout Chicagoland and beyond, ministering to the holistic needs of individuals and families across diverse communities; and
WHEREAS, The Powerhouse is widely recognized for cultivating a powerful worship experience described as “the birth of a sound,” a prophetic and spiritual expression that has brought healing, deliverance, and breakthrough to countless individuals locally and globally; and
WHEREAS, through their unwavering commitment to faith, outreach, and prophetic leadership, Archbishop and Pastor Hudson have empowered thousands to live “10X Better,” advancing a justice-centered, inclusive, and transformative ministry model rooted in faith, healing, and holistic empowerment; and
WHEREAS, the grand opening of Powerhouse Posen on Saturday, June 28, 2025, marks a significant milestone in their apostolic vision to bring impactful ministry beyond Chicago’s city limits-extending spiritual formation, outreach, and community transformation to the Village of Posen and surrounding suburbs; and
WHEREAS, Archbishop William Hudson III and Pilgrim Assemblies International will host the 35th Annual Holy Convocation of Pilgrim Assemblies International in Cook County at Greenwood Oasis, convening thousands of spiritual leaders, believers, and changemakers from across the globe for a time of worship, impartation, renewal, and fellowship; and
WHEREAS, Archbishop Hudson's ministry and leadership have consistently emphasized the importance of building strong communities, advocating for justice, and investing in the spiritual and social development of the people of Cook County; and
WHEREAS, in recognition of his extraordinary leadership, ministry impact, and unwavering dedication to the spiritual, cultural, and civic fabric of our region, June 28th shall henceforth be designated as “Archbishop William Hudson III Day” in the County of Cook;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the President of the Board, President Toni Preckwinkle, along with the Cook County Board of Commissioners, do hereby honor and recognize Archbishop William Hudson III and Pastor Andria Hudson on the grand opening of Powerhouse Posen, commend their continued leadership at all Powerhouse campuses, and celebrate the hosting of the 35th Annual Holy Convocation of Pilgrim Assemblies International in Cook County; and further express deep gratitude for their faithful commitment to uplifting communities and transforming lives throughout this county and beyond;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a suitable copy of this resolution be spread upon the official proceedings of this Honorable Body, archived in the permanent records of Cook County, and presented to Archbishop and Pastor Hudson in commemoration of their distinguished service, with special recognition of June 28th as Archbishop William Hudson III Day in Cook County.
