Summary:  The Bureau of Technology is requesting to approve an amendment to an existing contract for membership in the Gartner Executive Program for the Chief Information Officer and Bureau of Technology team. This contract provides exclusive benefits which include:

 

                     Leverage world-class expertise - through on-site briefings, workshops and strategic consultations

                     Engage with Experts - get answers via inquiries, briefings and contract reviews

                     Attending engaging conferences - stay ahead of emerging trends, network, hone strategy and expand on vision

                     Connect with peers - exchange ideas with colleagues in a global community of more than 7,500 leaders

                     Receive personalized services - the Gartner service delivery team provides strategic insights and advice on Cook County top priorities

                     Access to conferences focusing on technical topics as well as emerging technologies

                     Explore and apply the research and tools - access Gartner tools developed from research covering more than 1,350 IT topics

 

The benefits also provide customized strategic planning meetings, access to technical and strategic conferences and workshops.  We have worked with Gartner on many initiatives utilizing the professional membership. This reference contract will allow us to  continue this partnership.

 

This is a Comparable Government Procurement pursuant to Section 34-140 of the Cook County Procurement Code. Gartner was previously awarded a contract by the State of Michigan through a Request for Proposal (RFP) process. Cook County wishes to leverage this procurement effort.
