Summary:  The Department of Transportation and Highways respectfully requests approval of the proposed Contract Amendment between the County and Genuine Parts Company d/b/a NAPA, Naperville, Illinois. This increase and first of two (2), one (1) year renewal options will allow the Department of Transportation and Highways, Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management to continue to purchase automobile and heavy-duty equipment parts needed to repair County-owned vehicles. 
 
This contract was awarded through a publicly advertised Request for Proposals (RFP) process in accordance with the Cook County Procurement Code.  Genuine Parts Company d/b/a NAPA was selected based on established evaluation criteria.
