Summary: The Bureau of Technology is requesting authorization for the Chief Procurement Officer to execute an amendment to the Microsoft Premier Unified Support Services contract. The proposed amendment would increase the contract spend authority. The Microsoft Premier Unified Support Services contract is used for technical support and technical services for the various Microsoft technologies in use throughout Cook County. This contract includes 24x7 technical support coverage for Microsoft software such as Microsoft 365 (Email, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive), Microsoft Azure (Cloud) and Microsoft Server software that runs critical business applications throughout the County.
This contract was awarded as a Sole Source Procurement pursuant to Section 34-139 of the Cook County Procurement Code.
