Summary: This increase will allow the Adult Probation Department to receive Substance Abuse Treatment and Counseling Services.
This contract with the Gateway Foundation, Inc. provides specialized treatment services ordered by the court for adult criminal offenders, who participate in the Circuit Court’s drug treatment court programs. Services provided under the contract include assessment, detoxification, counseling, residential rehabilitation, Level I and Level II outpatient treatment, case management, toxicology, and aftercare, as deemed appropriate, billed to the Cook County at the prescribed hourly contract rates. This contract is a part of a service network that encompasses all of Cook County, that assist offenders in their own community.
This contract was awarded through the Request for Proposal (RFP) procedures in accordance with Cook County Procurement Code. Gateway Foundation, Inc. was selected based on established evaluation criteria.
