Summary: This increase and first of two renewal options will allow the Department of Transportation and Highways to purchase Crew Cab Dump Trucks. This new equipment will be used to transport personnel, materials and equipment used to maintain Cook County roadways.
The new Crew Cab Dump trucks will replace trucks that are beyond their useful life. The cost to maintain the current trucks is extensive. The new Crew Cab Dump trucks will provide safe, reliable, and efficient equipment for the Maintenance Bureau.
This contract was awarded through a publicly advertised competitive bidding process in accordance with the Cook County Procurement Code. ILF1, LLC dba Elmhurst Ford was the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder.
