Summary: Contract 2250-04111, from Old Fashioned LLC. d/b/a Kingdom Farms, provides Juvenile Temporary Detention center with quality Meat Products, used to serve the residents that we house. They maintain our compliance with the National School Lunch Program and adhere to recommendations from our partners of Cook County Good Food Purchasing Program. This contract was awarded through all guidelines laid by the OCPO and the need for increase is to cover the cost of products during this six-month extension request. A contract is currently under evaluation and will be awarded for future services.
Competitive bidding procedures were followed on accordance with the Cook County Procurement Code. Old Fashioned, LLC d/b/a Kingdom Farms previously known as Kingdom Farms Wholesale Meat Inc. was the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder.
