Summary: The Department of Transportation and Highways respectfully requests the approval of the proposed Contract between the County and MYS Incorporated, Palos Heights, Illinois.
Under this contract, the Contractor will do the removal and replacement of concrete overlay, partial depth deck repairs, approach slab repairs, concrete repairs, replacing expansion joints, cleaning bridge drainage system, concrete sealing of substructure and deck crack sealing at Devon Ave. over Salt Creek (Elk Grove Village, Commissioner District 17), Lake Cook Rd. over Buffalo Creek (Village of Buffalo Grove, Commissioner District 14), Central Ave. over Illinois Central Railroad (Village of Forest View, Commissioner District 16), Sunset Ridge Rd. over North Branch Chicago River (Village of Northbrook, Commissioner District 14), Wheeling Rd. over McDonald Creek (Village of Wheeling, Commissioner District 14), Edens Frontage Rd. over Skokie River (New Trier Township, Commissioner District 14), Wolf Rd. over Salt Creek (Village of Westchester and City of LaGrange, Commissioner District 17), Schoenbeck Rd. over McDonald Creek (City of Prospect Heights, Commissioner District 14) and West Lake Ave over Des Plaines River (Village of Glenview, Commissioner District 14).
