Summary: The Bureau of Technology is seeking authorization to exercise the first renewal option on this contract with Clarity Partners, LLC to provide web hosting and support for various County office websites. This includes the County’s main websites (www.cookcountyil.gov) which covers Offices under the President, Assessor, Board of Review, County Clerk, Clerk of the Circuit Court, Chief Judge, Emergency Management and Regional Security, Public Defender, and the State’s Attorney.
The leveraged shared services provide a more centralized approach to delivering website content, reduce the number of site instances, promote more uniform security practices and help drive down costs. This agreement is aligned to the Bureau of Technology’s guiding principles: shared first, sustainability, leveraging a Countywide standard along with reuse before buying, and buying before being built. A key benefit of this agreement is that it allows offices like the Assessor and Clerk to take advantage of secure platforms for hosting and delivering content on their websites.
Clarity Partners, LLC was pre-qualified through the County’s Request for Qualification (RFQ) process in accordance with the Cook County Procurement Code. The contract was selected based on established evaluation criteria.
