Summary: The Department of Transportation and Highways respectfully requests the approval of the proposed Contract between the County and Christopher B. Burke Engineering, LTD., Rosemont, Illinois
The purpose of this contract is to provide the County with a variety of engineering services related to traffic signal and electrical systems, including but not limited to: collecting data, monitoring and optimizing both the County's legacy and more modernized centralized cloud-based traffic signal systems, preparing and reviewing engineering designs for traffic signals and roadway lighting systems, and various other tasks as assigned pertaining to traffic signal systems and electrical engineering.
This contract is awarded pursuant to a publicly advertised Request for Qualifications (RFQ) in accordance with the Cook County Procurement Code. Christopher B. Burke Engineering, Ltd. was selected based on established evaluation criteria.
