PROPOSED RESOLUTION
HONORING 75 YEARS OF NOVELTY GOLF
WHEREAS, Novelty Golf and its adjacent hot dog stand Bunny Hutch, located in Lincolnwood, at the corner of Lincoln and Devon, celebrates 75 years of bringing joy to golf enthusiasts and families alike; and
WHEREAS, Novelty Golf and Games was established in 1949 and is a family-owned and operated beloved miniature golf destination; and
WHEREAS, Novelty Golf includes the iconic giant elephant to the challenging windmill, batting cages, video game room, and the iconic Bunny Hutch restaurant; and
WHEREAS, by the 1960s the Klatzco family acquired Novelty Golf and the Bunny Hutch building; and
WHEREAS, Novelty Golf has been owned and operated by three generations of the Klatzco family; and
WHEREAS, over the past seven decades, Novelty Golf has remained committed to providing an exceptional experience for all who visit. Novelty Golf is a place where memories are made and laughter is shared; and
WHEREAS, as Novelty Golf looks ahead to the next 75 years, it remains committed to its mission of providing a place where families and friends can come together to create lasting memories; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Cook County Board of Commissioners does hereby recognize and honor the 75th Anniversary of Novelty Golf; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this text be spread upon the proceedings of this Honorable Body and that a suitable copy of this resolution is presented to Novelty Golf in honor of its 75th anniversary.
