Summary: The Department of Transportation and Highways respectfully requests the approval of the proposed Contract between Cook County and HNTB Corporation, Chicago, Illinois.
This contract provides transportation planning services including, but not limited to, short- to long-term planning of public transportation, freight and intermodal, active transportation, and land use as it relates to transportation. The consultants will be expected to perform data analysis, feasibility studies, GIS mapping, market analysis, graphics production, and other services in support of Department planning efforts and to assist with community outreach efforts.
This contract is awarded through a publicly advertised Request for Qualifications (RFQ) in accordance with Cook County Procurement Code. HNTB Corporation was selected based on established evaluation criteria.
