Summary: The Department of Transportation and Highways respectfully requests approval of the proposed Improvement Resolution between the County and Various Municipalities-Entities. This improvement is needed to fund various, multi-modal transportation projects across the entirety of Cook County as an enactment of the priorities set forth in our Long-Range Transportation Plan, Connecting Cook County. The 36 different projects include transit, bicycle, pedestrian and roadway improvements at various stages of completion. The diversity of projects reflects the diversity of the impacted communities.
