Summary: This contract will allow the Assessor, Clerk of the Circuit Court, Animal Control, Facilities Management, Bureau of Technology, Public Guardian, States Attorney, Veterans Assistance Commission of Cook County, Juvenile Probation and Juvenile Temporary Detention Center to purchase up to a quantity of 33, 2026 or newer Ford vehicles approved by the Vehicle Steering Committee. As of 2026, the hybrid version for the Ford Escape is no longer manufactured, only gas. This contract has the option of purchasing up to 14 Ford Maverick Hybrids. Acquiring these new vehicles will enable agencies to maintain efficient and reliable transportation necessary to support ongoing county operations and better serve community needs.
