Summary: The Cook County State’s Attorney Office (SAO) requests approval of payment to Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company (HPE). This service became necessary as a result of a crucial upgrade to the server room by the Bureau of Technology. SAO servers critical to charging and prosecuting cases failed to come back online after upgrades were completed. In this crucial situation, we engaged with HPE, the manufacturer of our servers, to help us understand what was necessary to restore these critical servers and their functions.
