Summary: This contract will allow the Cook County Sheriff’s Office to purchase Ford Expedition XL Max vehicles to replace an aging fleet. A portion of this contract will be funded by a grant from the Cook County Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, and a portion will be funded by the Sheriff’s Office Special Purpose Fund. Thirteen (13) vehicles will be purchased in the initial term of the contract.
The vendor was selected pursuant to a publically advertised Invitation for Bids (IFB) in accordance with the Cook County Procurement Code. Sutton Ford was the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder.
