Summary: This contract will allow the Department of Risk Management to have Unemployment Compensation Claims Program Services. The vendor collaborates with County employers to ensure unemployment claims, hearings, and benefit charges are handled in a timely and cost-effective manner. The vendor also verifies invoices from the State before Cook County proceeds with the quarterly State reimbursement of charges.
This contract is awarded through a publicly advertised Request for Proposals (RFP) in accordance with Cook County Procurement Code. Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc. was selected based on established evaluation criteria.
