Summary: The Department of Transportation and Highways respectfully requests approval of the proposed Joint Funding Agreement between the County and the State of Illinois Department of Transportation. Cook County will be the lead agency for Phase II Design Engineering to support full reconstruction of Butler Drive and Stony Island Avenue in the Illinois International Port District in the City of Chicago, Illinois. The FHWA will pay up to a maximum of $1,680,000.00 and State will pay up to a maximum of $120,000.00 toward the Phase II Design Engineering costs per the terms of the agreement.
