Summary:  This intergovernmental agreement and grant funds the following activities:
(1)      Ambient air quality monitoring
(2)      Inspection of pollution sources for violation of state and federal environmental laws; Investigation of citizen complaints;
(3)      Inspection and regulation of dry cleaners, auto body shops and other facilities; and
(4)      Submission of quarterly reports to the IEPA.  
This work is funded through a pass through grant from USEPA's Section 105 grant to the State of Illinois Environmental Protection Agency and this continues the work traditionally done under a  direct USEPA grant of the same amount. end
