This report documents outcomes from the second year of Fair Transit South Cook, an award-winning three-year pilot program that provides better and more affordable transportation options to south Cook County and the south side of Chicago. The pilot launched in January 2021 in partnership with the region's transit agencies and is led by Cook County's Department of Transportation and Highways (DoTH). The pilot program reduces fares on the Metra Electric and Rock Island lines and increases service on a key Pace Bus route.
