Lunkins Randolph Littleton Sr., and; WHEREAS, Candy confessed a hope in Christ at an early age with faith to live again in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and; WHEREAS, Candy graduated from Proviso East High School in 1985. She continued her education with a focus in Psychology at Triton College and Governor State University, and; WHEREAS, Candy displayed her love for others through her work with Jane Addams Hull House, Chicago, IL., Clearbrook in Arlington Height, IL, and the Association for Individual Development in Aurora, IL. She made her mark in Nashville, TN working the YMCA, Monroe Harding, Inc., and Mental Health Cooperative, and; WHEREAS, Candy had a heart for the most vulnerable. She was passionate about her work with youth and domestic violence survivors, and; WHEREAS, Candy enjoyed spending time with her grandch...

CELEBRATING THE LIFE OF CANDY GORDON

 

WHEREAS, Candy Gordon was born in Chicago, IL February 23, 1968, to Elaine D. Lunkins Randolph Littleton Sr., and;

 

WHEREAS, Candy confessed a hope in Christ at an early age with faith to live again in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and;

 

WHEREAS, Candy graduated from Proviso East High School in 1985. She continued her education with a focus in Psychology at Triton College and Governor State University, and;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Cook County Board of Commissioners, on behalf of the residents of Cook County, does hereby celebrate the life of Candy Gordon, and offer condolences to her family; and,

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, a copy of this Resolution be tendered to the family as a token of the esteem held by the President of the Cook County Board of Commissioners and the Cook County Board of Commissioners.
