Summary: The Department of Transportation and Highways respectfully requests the approval of the proposed Contract between the County and T.Y. Lin International Great Lakes, Inc., Chicago, Illinois.
This contract consists of the preparation and completion of a Planning and Environmental Linkages (PEL) study for a new full access interchange on I-294 near the intersection of Pulaski Road and Midlothian Turnpike located in the Villages of Crestwood and Robbins in southern Cook County. The preliminary engineering and assessment of potential interchange alternatives will follow policies and standards from the Cook County Department of Transportation and Highways (CCDOTH), the Illinois Tollway (Tollway), the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) under the assumption that there may be federal funding participation on future project phases.
