Summary: The Department of Transportation and Highways respectfully requests approval of the proposed Intergovernmental Agreement between Cook County and the Village of Arlington Heights. The Village will be the lead agency for construction and construction engineering for the planned Euclid Avenue Resurfacing Project. The County will reimburse the Village for one hundred percent (100%) of actual construction and construction engineering costs associated with the traffic signal replacement at the intersection of Euclid Avenue and Wilke Road and sixty percent (60%) of the remaining actual construction and construction engineering costs for the Project after application of FHWA STP-L (Federal Highway Administration Surface Transportation Program-Local) Funds. The estimated total County Share under this Agreement is $2,376,620.00, under Cook County Section: 23-A5912-00-PV.
