Summary: The Department of Transportation and Highways respectfully requests approval of the proposed Intergovernmental Agreement between the County and the FPDCC. The FPDCC will be the lead agency for design engineering services to address two significant gaps in the Salt Creek Trail system. The two trail gaps include 0.85 mile gap between Parkview Road and Ogden Avenue (referred to as Segment A), and the 0.59 mile gap between Millbridge Road and Ogden Avenue (referred to as Segment C). The County will reimburse the Forest Preserve District of Cook County for its share of design engineering costs.
