Summary:  This contract will allow the Department of Transportation and Highways  to have a Contractor to clean all bridge scuppers and drainage systems at 32 locations.  The improvements will enable the Department to protect the public investment in the highway system and provide a safe and sustainable highway in accordance with the Department’s mission statement. Further, the improvement supports development of the regional economy through improved regional mobility.

 

The vendor was selected pursuant to a publicly advertised Invitation for Bids (IFB) in accordance with the Cook County Procurement Code.  Path Construction Company, Inc was the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder.
