PROPOSED RESOLUTION
APPROVAL OF SALARY SCHEDULES NEGOTIATED BETWEEN THE CLERK OF THE CIRCUIT COURT OF COOK COUNTY AND THE INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF TEAMSTERS, LOCAL 700, REPRESENTING IT EMPLOYEES IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK OF THE CIRCUIT COURT OF COOK COUNTY
WHEREAS, the Illinois Public Employee Labor Relations Act (5 ILCS 315/1 et seq.) has established regulations regarding collective bargaining with a union; and
WHEREAS, a Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Local 700, representing IT employees in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County has been entered into for the period of December 1, 2025, through November 30, 2027; and
WHEREAS, salary adjustments and general wage increases are reflected in the salary schedules included in the collective bargaining agreement negotiated between the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Local 700, representing IT employees in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County; and The Rates of Pay provision in the collective bargaining agreement shall be as follows:
(a) Effective the first full pay period on or after June 1, 2026, the pay rates for all job classifications shall be increased by 2.0%.
(b) Effective the first full pay period on or after December 1, 2026, the pay rates for all job classifications shall be increased by 4.0%.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Cook County Board of Commissioners does hereby approve the salary schedules, and general wage increases as negotiated between the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Local 700, provided by the Bureau of Human Resources.
