Request: Approval of appropriation of Motor Fuel Tax Funds
Project: The Department of Transportation and Highways respectfully submits for adoption a resolution appropriating funds for the improvement of Central Road from Ela Road to Roselle Road. This improvement, as proposed, will consist of intersection improvements at Central Road and Roselle Road, construction of a new I-90 Tollway westbound on-ramp, open-channel construction for Salt Creek, land bridge construction, pavement reconstruction and rehabilitation, culvert construction, drainage improvements, utility relocation, multi-use path reconstruction, street lighting and traffic signal improvements, acquisition of temporary easements, right-of-way, installation of signing and pavement markings, landscaping, engineering and other necessary highway appurtenances.
