Summary: The Department of Transportation and Highways respectfully requests approval of the Proposed Improvement Resolution for the Franklin Avenue Reconstruction project in the Village of Franklin Park in Cook County. These improvements, as proposed, will consist of design and construction phases to reconstruct and widen Franklin Avenue which includes a new multi-use path, closed drainage system, intersection improvements, traffic control and protection, signing, pavement marking, landscaping, engineering and other necessary highway appurtenances.
