PROPOSED RESOLUTION
A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING LISA GILBERT
WHEREAS, Lisa Gilbert has served as the Schaumburg Business Association president for the last 11 years; and
WHEREAS, Gilbert’s dedication and vision has left a lasting impact on the organization, with many contributions through her different roles, consistently demonstrating her commitment to the association’s mission; and
WHEREAS, her diligence, dedication, and passion has set a strong foundation for the association’s future success;
WHEREAS, during her time as President, Gilbert’s work has grown the association from 525 to over 800 businesses; and
WHEREAS, Gilbert also worked during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond to continue supporting businesses through different grants and business opportunities; and
WHEREAS, she also went on to create the Schaumburg’s Sake Fest, celebrating the over 70 Japanese -owned businesses in Schaumburg; and
WHEREAS, Gilbert’s last effective day as President of the Schaumburg Business Association was September 13th;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Commissioners does herby offer it’s thanks to Lisa Gilbert in recognition for her 11 years of dedication to the Schaumburg Business Association; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this text be spread upon official proceedings of this Honorable Body; and its suitable copies be tendered to Lisa Gilbert is honor of her achievements.
