Summary:  The overall strategy of the Officer Recruitment and Retention Grant, implemented by the Cook County Sheriff’s Office is to aide in recruitment and retention efforts. The CCSO Recruitment program aims to address the critical need for a diverse, skilled workforce. This grant will allow the CCSO to implement targeted outreach strategies, marketing campaigns and strategic advertising to increase the quantity and quality of applicants for both sworn and civilian positions and will assist in fulfilling staff deficiencies.
