Summary/Notes:
The intergovernmental agreement will be used to provide funding for youth employment, job mentoring,
and life skills training opportunities for two (2) years during the summer of 2013, and will be provided
during the summer of 2014 for at risk youth. Cook County seeks to collaborate with the City of Chicago
to reduce violence and increase employment opportunities in an effort to help stabilize struggling
communities.
