PROPOSED RESOLUTION
HONORING THE LIFE OF TYRONE LAWYER KINDLE
WHEREAS, Almighty God, in His infinite wisdom, has called Tyrone Lawyer Kindle from our midst; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Kindle was an individual who exhibited leadership throughout his life and who never stopped advocating for children; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Kindle was born on April 12, 1961; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Kindle was baptized and joined Christ Temple at the age of five; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Kindle moved with family to Markham, Illinois 1964, graduating from Thornwood High School in 1979; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Kindle enjoyed playing basketball and football in high school, exhibiting leadership which he would later use in the military and in his teaching career; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Kindle earned a degree in Administrative Licensure from University of Minnesota - Twin Cities and a Master's degree in Special Education and Teaching in 2005; and
WHEREAS, at the time of his death, Mr. Kindle had served as an assistant principal at Anoka Hennepin School for 8 years; prior to this, Mr. Kindle was Dean of Students at Plymouth Christian Youth Center for five years; Mr. Kindle loved children as evidenced by his dedication to them and their well-being; and
WHEREAS, prior to his work in education, Mr. Kindle was Assistant Director at The City, Inc., and served at WCCO-TV and WFTV Channel 29; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Kindle will be remembered by the many individuals whose hearts he touched and loved; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Kindle is predeceased by his brother, Curtis Kindle; he is survived by his wife, Kathryn, children, Zarkari, Takina and Nehemiah; parents, Nathe and Herberdenia; siblings, Rita McCune, Evelyn Pharms, Michael Kindle, Herberdenia Phillips, Aldophus Kindle; father-in-law, Richard Plaman, mother-in-law, Joyce Plaman, brothers-in-law, Brad (Jennifer) and Jeff (Tammy) Plaman; faithful dog, Bella, nieces and newphews, Dione Glenn, Sterling Jason McCoy, Kiana Phillips, Camille (Phillips) Slaughter, Kamilah Kindle-Jones, Kimberly Phillips, Chantia Kindle, Yoruba Pharms, Samantha McCune, Bailey Plaman, Michael Kindle, Jr., Atukwe Kindle, Alyson Plaman, Malcolm Kindle, Isabela Plaman, Oliver Plaman and Henry Plaman, and a host of extended family and friends.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Cook County Board of Commissioners, on behalf of the residents of Cook County, does offer its most sincere condolences during this time of loss and mourning to the family and friends of Tyrone Kindle, and may a copy of this Resolution be tendered to the family of Tyrone Kindle so that he may be honored and ever cherished.
