PROPOSED RESOLUTION
CELEBRATING 90TH Birthday of Mrs. Charlene N. Scott Robinson
WHEREAS, Mrs. Charlene N. Scott Robinson of Chicago, Illinois will celebrate her 90th birthday surrounded by her family and friends; and
WHEREAS, Charlene was born June 9, 1925 in Hunnewell, Missouri to Williams Edward and Amanda Beatrice Dant Scott; and
WHEARAS, Charlene was married to the late Edward Robinson which three sons were born, Howard O. Robinson, Edward D. Robinson and Raynard E. Robinson who has passed on; and
WHEARAS, Charlene was a dedicated employee at the University of Chicago Hospital previously known as Billing's Hospital as a Dietician for forty-five years from 1943 to her retirement in 1988; and
WHEREAS, Charlene is truly a God fearing woman whose faith and belief has allowed her to see the good in everyone. Her beauty arises from her heart and soul; and
WHEREAS, Charlene, affectionately known as Chuck, has touched the lives of all who have embraced her warm heart and generosity. She has been an excellent mother/ mother in law and role model, a loving grandmother and great grandmother, a sister and sister- in law, who embodies faith and strong character. Charlene has been an inspirational Aunt to a host of Nieces and Nephews and Cousins. She is also the essence of true friendship to her closest friends; and
WHEREAS, Charlene's values which was shaped at an early age along with the wisdom she acquired through the years has guided her path; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the President and Board of Commissioners of Cook County congratulate Mrs. Charlene N. Scott Robinson on the occasion of her 90th birthday and wish her continued health and happiness for years to come.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this text is spread upon the official proceedings of this Honorable Body and a suitable copy of same be tendered to Mrs. Charlene N. Scott Robinson to celebrate the auspicious occasion.
