PROPOSED RESOLUTION
THERESA ROPKE, IN MEMORIAM
WHEREAS, Almighty God in His infinite wisdom has called Theresa Ropke (nee Bertucci) from our midst; and
WHEREAS, Theresa Ropke was the beloved wife of Ronald; and
WHEREAS, Theresa Ropke was the loving mother of Kathleen, Janet, Judith, and the late Ronald Jr.; and
WHEREAS, Theresa Ropke was the cherised grandmother of Michelle, Mary Kay, Michael, Ronald III, and Antoinette; and
WHEREAS, Theresa Ropke was the adoring great-grandmother of ten; and
WHEREAS, Theresa Ropke was the dear sister of Mary (the late Anthony) Tadin, the late Frank (the late Mary) Bertucci, Rose (Anthony) Sinople, Charles Bertucci, Anthony (the late Katie) Bertucci, Catherine (the late Bill) Mitchell, Ann (the late Ronald) Freeman, Dominic (Nijole) Bertucci, James Bertucci, Helen (James) Pelnarsh, and Antoinette Galati; and
WHEREAS, Theresa Ropke was the fond aunt of many nieces and nephews; and
WHEREAS, Theresa Ropke touched the lives of many and will be remembered by all who knew her; and
WHEREAS, all who knew her will attest that Theresa Ropke was a kind and compassionate woman, virtuous of character and gentle in spirit, admired and respected by her many friends and neighbors, and dearly loved by her family; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Commissioners of Cook County that the Board does hereby offer its deepest condolences and most heartfelt sympathy to the family and many friends of Theresa Ropke, and joins them in sorrow at this time of loss; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this text be spread upon the official proceedings of this Honorable Body, and a suitable copy of the same be tendered to the family of Theresa Ropke so that her memory may be so honored and ever cherished.
