Summary: The Thresholds Bond Court Pilot Project, a project of the Justice Advisory Council and the Cook County Public Defender’s Office will continue for an additional twelve (12) months. The purpose of the project is to assist individuals who have received treatment for mental health issues and are eligible for SSI. These individuals are facing criminal charges and are awaiting determinations of bond and conditions for release in the Central Bond Court.
