Summary:  This project is to provide design services for the following projects: ADA accessibility for the 5th floor Board Room at the County Building, 8^th Floor ADA Renovation & Department Consolidation, and 10^th Floor ADA Renovation & Consolidation. In addition to ADA compliance, the 8^th Floor and 10^th Floor projects are consistent with the Real Estate Asset Strategic Realignment Plan (REASRP) and will allow for additional consolidation opportunities in the future.

To accomplish the goal of creating an ADA accessible Board Room, the entire 5^th Floor will need to be redesigned to comply with all Federal, state, and local ADA regulations and codes.  In addition to the Board Room, this redesign will also include the Office of the President, County Commissioner Offices,  and the Comptroller’s Office.

This contract was awarded through a Request for Qualification (RFQ) process in accordance with the Cook County Procurement Code. FGM Architects, Inc. was selected based on established evaluation criteria.
