Summary: This increase and first of two (2), one (1) year renewal options will allow the Cook County Sheriff’s Office and Adult Probation to continue electronic monitoring services - radio frequency technology for inmates of the Department of Corrections and participants of Adult Probation who have been placed on court-ordered home detention/curfews. Both Agencies are currently working with the Office of the Chief Procurement Officer to finalize a solicitation to issue Request for Proposals (RFP) in efforts to identify future contract options.
This contract was awarded through Request for Proposals (RFP) procedures in accordance with Cook County Procurement Code. 3M Electronic Monitoring, Inc. was selected based on established evaluation criteria.
