Request: Approval of appropriation of Motor Fuel Tax Funds
Project: The Department of Transportation and Highways respectfully submits for adoption a resolution appropriating funds for the improvement of the Riverside-Brookfield Trail Connection to the Salt Creek Bicycle Trail for segments to be constructed along 31st Street from First Avenue to Golfview Road, and along Golfview Road/First Avenue from 31st Street to 26th Street. This improvement, as proposed, will consist of earth excavation, grading, construction of a hot-mix asphalt multi-use path, curb and gutter removal and replacement, utility relocation, drainage adjustments, landscaping, pavement markings and signage, traffic control and protection, engineering and other necessary appurtenances.
Location: Riverside-Brookfield Trail Connection to Salt Creek Bicycle Trail in the Villages of North Riverside, Riverside and Brookfield.
