Summary: This second of two (2), one (1) year renewal options and increase will allow the Office of the Medical Examiner (OME) to continue to obtain medical grade gases used daily in its toxicology laboratory. Without this contract, the toxicology laboratory would be unable to assist OME’s pathologists with determining manner and cause of death in the decedents of Cook County.
This contract was awarded through the competitive bidding process in accordance with the Cook County Procurement Code. Progressive Industries, Inc. was the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder.
