Title: PROPOSED RESOLUTION HONORING THE ELMWOOD PARK WOMAN'S CLUB ON ITS 75TH ANNIVERSARY WHEREAS, the Elmwood Park Woman's Club was founded in 1941 in Elmwood Park, Illinois, by a group of community-minded women who wanted to become more active and involved in community affairs; and WHEREAS, the Elmwood Park Woman's Club has served in various philanthropic, charitable, and community efforts throughout its tenure; and WHEREAS, the Elmwood Park Woman's Club established a strong asset and voice for the women in the community and for all residents of Elmwood Park; and WHEREAS, the Elmwood Park Woman's Club has dedicated itself to annually raising scholarship funds to help high school students from the community pay for a college education. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Cook County Board of Commissioners does hereby honor the Elmwood Park Woman's Club as it celebrates its 75 years of dedicated service to the community. HONORING THE ELMWOOD PARK WOMAN’S CLUB ON ITS 75TH ANNIVERSARY

 

WHEREAS, the Elmwood Park Woman’s Club was founded in 1941 in Elmwood Park, Illinois, by a group of community-minded women who wanted to become more active and involved in community affairs; and

 

WHEREAS, the Elmwood Park Woman’s Club has served in various philanthropic, charitable, and community efforts throughout its tenure; and

 

WHEREAS, the Elmwood Park Woman’s Club established a strong asset and voice for the women in the community and for all residents of Elmwood Park; and

 

WHEREAS, the Elmwood Park Woman’s Club has dedicated itself to annually raising scholarship funds to help high school students from the community pay for a college education.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Cook County Board of Commissioners does hereby honor the Elmwood Park Woman’s Club as it celebrates its 75 years of dedicated service to the community.

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a commemorative copy of this resolution be distributed to the Elmwood Park Woman’s Club on the occasion of its 75th Anniversary.
