Summary: The Department of Facilities Management is asking for payment approval of the fire alarm monitoring systems for the Cook County Criminal Court Building, Maywood lockup and Hawthorn warehouse. These systems are used to monitor the fire alarms within these locations. Due to an increase in the number of fire alarms County-wide, the annual cost has exceeded the forecasted annual amount. The Department of Facilities Management is working with the Office of the Chief Procurement Officer to establish a contract for these services.
