Summary: Justice Advisory Council seeks to award eight (8) Violence Prevention, Intervention, and Reduction Demonstration Grants to provide various services and/or programs as listed below. These represent the second FY 2016-2017 Violence Prevention, Intervention, and Reduction Grant Awards.
BBF Family Services: This grant will fund a program that would expand the recruiting services for the re-entry employment program and would serve 36 ex-offenders in the North Lawndale area.
Claretian and Associates: This grant will fund the Healing South Chicago program that would include a series of workshops based on adverse childhood experiences and impact on the safety of residents on South Chicago. There would be six...
