PROPOSED RESOLUTION
JOHN F MULCHRONE, IN MEMORIAM
WHEREAS, Almighty God in His infinite wisdom has called John F. Mulchrone from our midst; and
WHEREAS, John F. Mulchrone was the beloved husband of the Donna M. (nee Shannon); and
WHEREAS, John F. Mulchrone was the loving father of the late infant Rita, Patrick (Julie), John (the late Judiann), Peter (Colleen), the late Marian (James Lynch), Nora Mulchrone, William (Patricia) Thomas (Shelley), Robert (Hannah) and Shelia (Daniel) Menard; and
WHEREAS, John F. Mulchrone was the proud grandfather of 23 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; and
WHEREAS, John F. Mulchrone was the fond brother of the Kathleen (James) Breslin, Joseph (Carol) Mulchrone, Mary Ann (James) Pauley and the late infant Patrick Mulchrone; and
WHEREAS, John F. Mulchrone was the loving uncle of many nieces and nephews; and
WHEREAS, John F. Mulchrone bravely served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War; and
WHEREAS, John F. Mulchrone retired as a Captain in the Chicago Police Department; and
WHEREAS, John F. Mulchrone touched the lives of many and will be remembered by all who knew him; and
WHEREAS, all who knew him will attest that John F. Mulchrone was a kind and compassionate man, virtuous of character and gentle in spirit, admired and respected by his many friends and neighbors, and dearly loved by his family and his neighbors; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Commissioners of Cook County that the Board does hereby offer its deepest condolences and most heartfelt sympathy to the family of John F. Mulchrone and joins them in sorrow at this time of loss; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this text be spread upon the official proceedings of this Honorable Body, and a suitable copy of the same be tendered to the family of John F. Mulchrone, so that his memory may be so honored and ever cherished. end
