Title: PROPOSED AGREEMENT Department(s): Bureau of Economic Development and Department of Transportation and Highways Other Part(ies): Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership, Chicago, Illinois Request: Authorization to enter into an interagency agreement Good(s) or Service(s): Authorization for the Chief of the Bureau of Economic Development and Superintendent of Transportation and Highways to enter into an agreement with the Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership (“The Partnership”) to establish and implement a private sector based Cook County youth employment program (“Program”). The Program will target at a minimum 200 young adults, ages 16-24, with barriers to employment and/or from low-income households and/or from suburban Cook County communities with high rates of poverty or unemployment for an internship program.
