Title: PROPOSED RESOLUTION HONORING MAYOR SAM PULIA WHEREAS, Sam Pulia was elected Mayor of the Village of Westchester in 2009; and WHEREAS, Mayor Pulia stepped down from his post in April 2017; and WHEREAS, prior to his election, Mayor Pulia served as president of Westchester School District 92.5; and WHEREAS, Mayor Pulia is a decorated police veteran who has served as deputy chief of the Westchester Police Department and as chief of the Willow Springs Police Department; and WHEREAS, Mayor Pulia traveled to New York City after the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks to aide local police officials with security and search and recovery efforts; and WHEREAS, Mayor Pulia graduated from the prestigious Northwestern Staff and Command School, serving as class president; and WHEREAS, Mayor Pulia has spent his life dedicated to the people of Westchester and Cook County. HONORING MAYOR SAM PULIA

 

WHEREAS, Sam Pulia was elected Mayor of the Village of Westchester in 2009; and

 

WHEREAS, Mayor Pulia stepped down from his post in April 2017; and

 

WHEREAS, prior to his election, Mayor Pulia served as president of Westchester School District 92.5; and

 

WHEREAS, Mayor Pulia is a decorated police veteran who has served as deputy chief of the Westchester Police Department and as chief of the Willow Springs Police Department; and
