PROPOSED RESOLUTION
HONORING PATRICIA E. ROACH ON THE OCCASION OF HER RETIREMENT AS CLERK OF THE CITY OF BURBANK
WHEREAS, The Honorable Patricia “Pat” E. Roach retired in May of 2017 after 12 years of admirable and exemplary service as Clerk of the City of Burbank; and
WHEREAS, Patricia “Pat” E. Roach served on the Moraine Valley Community College Board for 13 years; and
WHEREAS, Patricia “Pat” E. Roach served in the General Assistance Department in Stickney Township; and
WHEREAS, in 2005, Patricia “Pat” E. Roach was elected Clerk in the City of Burbank; and
WHEREAS, the City of Burbank, a 4.17 square mile community first incorporated in 1970, has benefited immeasurably from the administrative skills of Patricia “Pat” E. Roach; and
WHEREAS, throughout her career, Patricia “Pat” E. Roach has faithfully served the people of the City of Burbank with dedication and a commitment to public service that exemplifies the finest qualities of civic leadership, and
WHEREAS, as Clerk, Patricia “Pat” E. Roach has proven that serving the residents of the City of Burbank was her first priority, now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of Cook County that the Board does hereby offer its congratulations to Patricia “Pat” E. Roach on her retirement and thank her for her many years of service to the City of Burbank, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this text be spread upon the official proceedings of this Honorable Body, and a suitable copy of same be tendered by the Commissioners of Cook County to Patricia “Pat” E. Roach so that her remarkable achievements on behalf of the citizens of the City of Burbank be duly recognized.
